Real partnerships and programmes International Football Hub has helped bring to life across its network. Click a case to read the full story.
A partner football school wanted its players and coaches to train, compete and learn within a different football culture — not just visit one. IFH designed and delivered a structured, multi-week international development programme connecting the school with a trusted host football environment in the IFH network, built around four pillars.
Age-appropriate training delivered by licensed host-country coaches — technical development under pressure, game intelligence, small-sided games and tactical understanding — combined with friendly matches against suitable local opposition and, where possible, a local youth tournament. Players receive individual feedback and a Certificate of Completion.
Visiting coaches take part throughout: pitch-side observation, joint session planning, co-coaching, match preparation and analysis, and structured dialogue with host coaches. The goal is a genuine two-way exchange of methodology, not a one-directional lecture. Participating coaches receive a Certificate of Participation.
A secure, supervised host environment (typically boarding-school style) with school visits, cultural workshops and — where calendars allow — visits to professional clubs, academies or stadiums. For young participants this builds independence, confidence and intercultural understanding.
Designed as the start of a relationship rather than a one-time visit.
Institutional value: final programme report, evaluation meeting, follow-up recommendations and a framework for future cooperation.
Long-term partnership: opportunities for annual exchanges, camps, coach education, consultancy, and school or academy partnerships.
